Between 1911 and 1914, Elders recorded songs for us from every aspect of their life: ceremony, social dances, war, love, dreams… These were collected on wax cylinder by Frances Densmore.
In this late 1990s multi-institutional project, Elders from Cheyenne River and Standing Rock video-record memories of growing up and the families they come from.
